I had the opportunity to dine at Sendai Tanya Rikiu EXPOCITY store. Located in the Food Pavilion (3rd floor of Expocity), there were two primary reasons that drew me to this spot:
- I was craving for some Beef Tongue.
- They offered a children’s menu.
My daughter, who has an egg allergy, often enjoys curry and udon. Fortunately, Sendai Tanya Rikiu EXPOCITY store offered a kid’s curry set. Although the portion was slightly large for my 1.5-year-old, it included her favorites like curry, cheese, sausages, corn, tomato, and jelly. She didn’t seem to enjoy the broccoli, though.
I ordered the Negi Salt Beef Tongue Bowl for myself.
The picture shows the regular size, but you can ask for extra if you like. The flavor was outstanding, with the beef tongue and salt sauce pairing really well. The tongue was thinly sliced, making it easy to eat. I particularly enjoyed the generous amount of white onions.
For those with a bigger appetite, the portion might seem a bit small. Nonetheless, the flavor was quite satisfying.
Having a children’s menu was very helpful. The fragrant aroma of the salt sauce and lemon does wonders to stimulate your appetite, especially on hot days.
