The other day, I paid a visit to LaLaport Kadoma. There, I decided to satisfy my appetite with a meal from ‘Densetsu No Sutadonya’.
‘Densetsu No Sutadonya’ is located on the 3rd floor of the food court. It’s conveniently placed near the ‘Koagari’ and ‘Terrace’ seating areas, where one can dine with children.
If you’re craving a substantial meal, the legendary Sutadon bowls surely won’t disappoint.
Orders are placed at a self-checkout register. Once the payment is done, you will be handed a call bell.
It was around 18:00 on a Saturday and the place had a fair amount of people. From placing the order to receiving the meal, it took approximately 10 minutes, which didn’t feel long.
As for our orders, my wife and daughter chose the ‘Stamina Karaage(fried chicken) combo’, and I ordered the ‘Shio Sutadon’. The rice portions can be increased for free.
Here’s the ‘Stamina Karaage Combo’,
Karaage comes with rice, tonjiru(type of miso soup) and cabbage.
And here’s the ‘Shio Sutadon’.
This is Donburi which has pork and green onion with salty lemon sause.
It also comes with miso soup and grated yam.
Both were served in generous portions. Even my wife and daughter couldn’t finish the Karaage, so I helped out significantly. The crispy, Tatuta-like texture and juicy meat pair exceptionally well with the rice.
The Shio Sutadon, with its refreshing salt-based sauce, doesn’t make the fatty pork belly feel heavy. Paired with grated yam, it’s a stamina-boosting dish.
In the coming hot summer, it’s certainly ideal to keep your energy levels up.
